September Beauty Favourites

As women, we definitely are more than a bit obsessed with finding new beauty products. Whether it’s a new delicious smelling body moisturiser or the perfect nude lipstick.
I’ve recently come across some great new (and existing) products and if you want to hear about them, keep on reading.
The Body Shop Body Yoghurt in Banana
We have all heard about the infamous Body Shop Body Butter, they have now introduced a lighter texture, but equally moisturising body cream. Smells incredible, dries quickly and easy to apply. What more could you wish for?

Grainne McCoy Cosmetics Brushes
I wouldn’t be one to usually rave about new makeup brushes, as I have been using the same Real Techniques brushes for years. I recently received the Grainne McCoy brushes and onfirst impressions of course I thought they looked gorgeous. Midnight Blue Glitter – come on! I used them first when I went on holidays and I am telling you now, they are bloody marvellous. The Foundation Brush is soft and blends foundation perfectly even around your nose, where I would usually have issues.

You can buy these at Connor Hair in L’Derry and Gordon’s Chemist’s.

Doll Face House of Makeup Foundation
I like a full coverage foundation and have been a fan of Mac Studio Fix for years. I would have quite a bit of redness on my cheeks that I like to cover up so full coverage is what I look for. The Doll Face Beauty foundation is light yet full coverage, buildable and long lasting. I adore it. I have been getting so many compliments on my makeup when I wear it. I believe that if you have a good base, your makeup easily looks flawless.

Jenny Glow Nectarine Blossom & Honey
If you love Jo Malone but not the price tag, you need to try Jenny Glow Fragrances. They have such a great selection of scents including Jo Malone favourites, Pomegranate Noir, English Pear & Freesia and Wood Sage. My favourite is the Nectarine Blossom & Honey. I’ve been wearing it every day and it smells great, lasts long and costs the same as a McDonalds.

You can buy these in almost every chemist now.
Mac Lipstick in Mehr
This isn’t a new discovery as I’ve been using this Lipstick for years but my last one ran out a few months ago, I had some empty products so took them in to Mac and swapped 6 for a full lipstick. The recycling schemes are amazing!

Tangle Teezer

My hair is so knotty so I need a brush that will get tangles out easily. The best brush is by far the Original tangle teezer. There are so many different kinds now for different hair dramas that everyone is sorted!
