Magheralin. My boyfriend and I just bought our first home a few months ago.
Shorts River Island
Inspiration- celebrity style crush Holly Willoughby
Instagram crush @blaireadiebee and @ninasandbech
Favourite shops- Topshop, ASOS, a good rumage around a vintage or charity shop and ZARA! ( My fav)
I work as a pharmacist. But in my spare time I also make headpieces @millinerybysian I adore vintage clothes and would love to do something with that in the future as well.
I love a bold print, lots of bright colours and a fun handbag ( I have quite the collection).
So I’m from Portadown, Co. Armagh! This outfit is a mixture of old with new….old Topshop skirt, Gucci tee, Gucci belt (which I get so much wear from!), Louis Vuitton boots and my little pug bag from everything5pounds.com! 😊My fav style inspo is a mix between Fearne Cotton and Caroline Flack! 😍 I love all things high street particularly Primark, Topshop and Zara. I’m a 41 year old, Ibiza loving Principal of a special school for children with severe learning difficulties! We have a school hedgehog called Stitch who lives in my office! 🦔 I have a slight obsession with body piercings and have been the proud owner of pink hair for almost 4 years! 😃💕💕💕🌸
So I divide my time between Derry and London, where I study. I’m finally done with exams, so I’m currently working on my own blog.
The trousers in this outfit came from River Island, the shoes from Stradivarius and the hoodie was a gift. I like to shop in charity shops and independent shops, but my favourite high street shop would be Topshop. My dad makes jewellery, so I wear a lot of that too. I also began making my own accessories.
I mostly find style inspiration on Instagram, where I follow a lot of fashion students and independent zines. I also like a good Drag Race look for ideas. ❤️
I’m from Coleraine.. 33 and a stay at home mum of 3 wee rascals!! Before my sons Cerebral palsy diagnosis I worked in bathroom design and sales and loved it!!!
This dress was on my must have list for the summer from H&M!! They have some seriously gorgeous pieces this season and so reasonably priced! Sliders are my designer dupes from new look and under a tenner!
My favourite style inspo accounts are @emmarosestyle and @astylealbum with @louiseredknapp
Closer to home I love @mrsmcgarry @girlyinspocorner @nichelamaria of course yourself and your foyleside takeovers!!
I love all things high street and affordable fashion!! Topshop, Newlook, H&M and of course Primark 🙌🏻 Oh and F&F at Tesco/next official is my fav for Mom Jeans!!
I’m Ali from Lisburn Co Antrim, full time accounts manager part time fashion blogger and Air Ambulance Volunteer.
I started my insta page 15 months ago to get off Tinder 😂 #truestory. Believe it or not I used to hate getting my photo taken and lived in black clothes. After hitting my 40’s and having a hysterectomy I always joke ‘I lost a womb but gained a sense of style!’ I aim to inspire others to step outside their comfort zone, try new looks and hopefully give them a chuckle along the way!
I admire the style of people like Caroline Flack and Fearne Cotton. Closer to home my insta favs are fellow Primark lovers @aprincipaloffashion and @snazzyyazi. @heads.and.threads and I sometimes borrow from each others wardrobe too.
This outfit pictured was my outfit for Ward Park 3 an outdoor music festival. I took my inspiration from the Coachella outfits on Instagram.
This is actually a beach cover up from tkmaxx I have layered over a plain black slip and added a studded belt. I’m a rock chick at heart and love studs so I embellished a leather jacket that is years old with studs, pearls, chains and tassles to create a unique piece. I finished the look off with DM style boots from Marks and Spencer and a studded bum bag from Primark.
Location: Belfast City
Trousers: Zara (last year)
Top: house of CB
My style inspiration:
I get style inspo from literally everywhere!
Street style images/music concerts or video outfits (Beyoncé homecoming at Coachella for example) / online shopping campaigns and even food/drinks labels lol. I love how Instagram alone can completely inspire a whole outfit in my head or set fuel to an idea I’ve previously had. I always stick with the basics that I love and feel most confident in & start from there.
For example: I’m a massive fan of tailoring & have more suits than dresses nowadays! So being able to add a sexy bralett under a blazer and a leather look jean can completely change the way we think about ‘tailoring’ & taking me from day to night! FAB!
Celebrity style inspo: Sam and Billie Frairs/ Holly Willoughby & Zendaya
Where I love to shop & about me:
I would online shop for around 80 percent of my wardrobe. The main reason being I find exactly the type of garment that’s floating around in my head. As I’ve online shopped for years now I’ve come to understand the different types of material (stretch/non stretch) and if I need to size up or down depending on a certain brand!
My top 5 shops:
• ASOS (big fan of ASOS design/their petite section and next day delivery is scary good)
• PrettyLittleThing (I love their petite section too & how bang on trend they always are)
• Zara (do I need to say any more? LOL)
I’m 26 (27 next month), I’m from Belfast and currently single. I‘ve been in my current job (dealing with our internet network) for 7 years now! I do enjoy it & I’ve made some friends for life. My passion really lies with Fashion/styling. Friends/colleagues have said to me over the years that I should start styling people & talking about fashion more often. It has always been in the back of my mind but starting my Instagram page @redandherthreads was the first step. I want to make people fall in love with dressing as much as I have. I use it as my happy place & where I blow off steam. I been told I’m good at giving life but I never take my own lol. If I can include this in my daily/weekly outfit posts and help someone out a little then I’ll be a happy woman.I still live at home & saving for that big bad mortgage soon! (Just looking for a house with a room for my clothes to live.)
My only real goal or something I’m aiming towards is trying to see at least 2 new countries or places each year. Learning to not be so hard on myself & learning to enjoy where I am in life right now!
I’m Jo, from Wollongong (South of Sydney) Australia. This top is from Carolina Lifestyle Label, Mom Jeans from ASOS Curve, and Bag from Simply Be. Instagram is my fashion inspiration – I’ve curated a feed of creatives, women (and some men) of all sizes, shades, and locations who have one think in common – great style. I love scrolling different looks and drawing inspiration – You were actually my inspiration for this look (hence the hashtag). I’m not sure I have a single ‘style’ or ‘look’ – I’m a trend trier, I like to try out new looks and make them work for me and my size 18 body. I’m a firm believer that Style has no size.
I’m a 42 year old mama of 2 girls. Girl Mama. Trying her best to stay cool despite the age thing! Wanting to inspire other Mamas to stay true to themselves and be themselves. I love fashion. My Mum & Aunts are all very fashionable. Think it’s in bred in the genes. I feel the need to pass the love along to the Arthurbelles. I love being a girl Mama. I’ve an eclectic taste and buy random things. Hence the #ootdoldwithnew … sometimes it take me years to find the right top for a crazy skirt I bought years ago.this top is from 2010. Got if for honeymoon. Skirt new Stradivarius & sandals new salt water. And bag Zohara. Love anything from primark to mulberry!
Each months winner will be entered into a draw in December for a £50 ASOS Voucher!
