I work as a pharmacist. But in my spare time I also make headpieces @millinerybysian I adore vintage clothes and would love to do something with that in the future as well.
I love a bold print, lots of bright colours and a fun handbag ( I have quite the collection).

So I divide my time between Derry and London, where I study. I’m finally done with exams, so I’m currently working on my own blog.
The trousers in this outfit came from River Island, the shoes from Stradivarius and the hoodie was a gift. I like to shop in charity shops and independent shops, but my favourite high street shop would be Topshop. My dad makes jewellery, so I wear a lot of that too. I also began making my own accessories.
I mostly find style inspiration on Instagram, where I follow a lot of fashion students and independent zines. I also like a good Drag Race look for ideas. ❤️

I started my insta page 15 months ago to get off Tinder 😂 #truestory. Believe it or not I used to hate getting my photo taken and lived in black clothes. After hitting my 40’s and having a hysterectomy I always joke ‘I lost a womb but gained a sense of style!’ I aim to inspire others to step outside their comfort zone, try new looks and hopefully give them a chuckle along the way!
I admire the style of people like Caroline Flack and Fearne Cotton. Closer to home my insta favs are fellow Primark lovers @aprincipaloffashion and @snazzyyazi. @heads.and.threads and I sometimes borrow from each others wardrobe too.
This outfit pictured was my outfit for Ward Park 3 an outdoor music festival. I took my inspiration from the Coachella outfits on Instagram.
This is actually a beach cover up from tkmaxx I have layered over a plain black slip and added a studded belt. I’m a rock chick at heart and love studs so I embellished a leather jacket that is years old with studs, pearls, chains and tassles to create a unique piece. I finished the look off with DM style boots from Marks and Spencer and a studded bum bag from Primark.

I get style inspo from literally everywhere!
Street style images/music concerts or video outfits (Beyoncé homecoming at Coachella for example) / online shopping campaigns and even food/drinks labels lol. I love how Instagram alone can completely inspire a whole outfit in my head or set fuel to an idea I’ve previously had. I always stick with the basics that I love and feel most confident in & start from there.
For example: I’m a massive fan of tailoring & have more suits than dresses nowadays! So being able to add a sexy bralett under a blazer and a leather look jean can completely change the way we think about ‘tailoring’ & taking me from day to night! FAB!

Where I love to shop & about me:
I would online shop for around 80 percent of my wardrobe. The main reason being I find exactly the type of garment that’s floating around in my head. As I’ve online shopped for years now I’ve come to understand the different types of material (stretch/non stretch) and if I need to size up or down depending on a certain brand!
My top 5 shops:
• ASOS (big fan of ASOS design/their petite section and next day delivery is scary good)
• PrettyLittleThing (I love their petite section too & how bang on trend they always are)

I’m 26 (27 next month), I’m from Belfast and currently single. I‘ve been in my current job (dealing with our internet network) for 7 years now! I do enjoy it & I’ve made some friends for life. My passion really lies with Fashion/styling. Friends/colleagues have said to me over the years that I should start styling people & talking about fashion more often. It has always been in the back of my mind but starting my Instagram page @redandherthreads was the first step. I want to make people fall in love with dressing as much as I have. I use it as my happy place & where I blow off steam. I been told I’m good at giving life but I never take my own lol. If I can include this in my daily/weekly outfit posts and help someone out a little then I’ll be a happy woman.I still live at home & saving for that big bad mortgage soon! My only real goal or something I’m aiming towards is trying to see at least 2 new countries or places each year. Learning to not be so hard on myself & learning to enjoy where I am in life right now!
