Wedding Guest Outfits

Wedding season has well and truly arrived and I’m sure the majority of you have at least 1 invitation on your fridge, or on it’s way in the post.

Of course the focus of any Wedding Day is the Bride, but that does not mean guests can’t look amazing too.

Spring/Summer ‘19 trends have focussed on bright colours, pretty prints and delicate material, which all make a perfect Wedding Guest Outfit. Whether you want to make a statement in a loud colour or wear the perfect girly dress, the High Street have you covered.

Bright and Bold

We have seen our fair share of neon this year so far, whether it be green or pink, but if that isn’t to your taste, bright colours like purple and yellow are also key colours for this season. Wear with patterned accessories, like a quirky clutch bag or animal print shoes to make these dresses really stand out!

Florals

I know what you’re thinking, “Floral’s for Spring? Groundbreaking.” Yes, florals are what you might think a safe option, but if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. This season is all about the big, bold florals in bright colours. Let the dress do the talking and wear with understated accessories in nude or metallic.

Satin

Another huge trend that is here to stay for the long haul. Satin is the perfect material for an item that you can dress up or down depending on the occasion. With the right accessories, these dresses make the perfect wedding guest outfit. To avoid looking like a bridesmaid, style your hair in a low-key fashion like loose curls.

Power Suits & Jumpsuits

For those who aren’t a fan of dresses, there are plenty of other options this year. Between jumpsuits, two-pieces and suits, your choice is endless. It used to be a massive fashion faux pas wearing trousers to a wedding, but now it’s so common, and the perfect trouser suit can make you really stand out.

Of course, no outfit is complete without accessories. You can really transform an outfit with the right accessories. This season is all about mules, animal print, colour blocking and hair accessories.
