A Fashion Lovers Guide to Ballymena’s Discount Day

A few months back, I spent the day shopping in one of my favourite towns in Northern Ireland, Ballymena. (You can read all about it here).

I loved the day me and my Mum spent there so I just had to go back and check out the new season stock in stores.

If you have been thinking about taking a trip to Ballymena for some Christmas shopping or maybe just to buy some treats for yourself, you’ll be delighted to hear that there’s a 20% discount day this Thursday 1st November where mainly all independent stores are taking part.

Other fabulous events taking place on this day includes:

· Cool FM Roadshow with Pete Snodden at the Harmony Hub from 1:30pm to 3:30pm

· Local band, Picture the Sound will be playing in the Harmony Hub from 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Also, did you know that you can park for 5 hours for £1 in the town centre?

Cameron’s

Firstly, I have to mention that Cameron’s is a family run department store which I love! It’s got that homely welcoming feel as soon as you walk through the door. Secondly, they have one of the most fabulous Christmas shops I’ve ever seen.

They also sell beautiful brands like Joules so if you’re looking for a new winter rain coat or wooly hats, this is the shop for you.

McKillen’s Shoes and Fashion

McKillen’s shoes was a place that I went for school shoes in my Primary school years, and it’s so nostalgic returning for shoes as an adult. ♥️

The best thing about McKillen’s fashions is their amazing range of hats and Berets.

Wallace’s

Another store that caters for everyone, we headed straight to the ladies section as the range is gorgeous and quirky.

Couples

This is a hidden gem of a shop, and suits all ages. You could go in with your Mum, your Granny and all come out with a new outfit.

Fred Funk

If you haven’t heard of Fred Funk, where have you been? Honestly, one of the coolest shoe shops I’ve set foot in (pardon the pun). If you like your quirky footwear and accessories, this is the shop for you.
