A few months ago, I decided it would be a great idea to dye my natural hair to a dark brown colour at the roots. (Little did I know at the time, this was a bad idea).
Then, a few weeks ago, I thought, awk sure I’ll just get a full head of blonde highlights – no big deal. (I was wrong).
It took 2 trips and approximately 9 hours in the hair dressers, to get my hair back to its bright blonde self.
(Thank goodness Roco’s salon is so amazing, 9 hours goes by in no time – good coffee, your own hair station and great music – what’s not to love?)
After highlighting all over with bleach, Ronan at Roco suggested a lilac toner toner to neutralise any yellowness. If you’re a blonde you’ll know the panic you feel when you think your hair colour looks like Lisa Simpsons. Gulp.
He kindly threw in a Roco Silver Logic Shampoo to treat my newly coloured hair.
I have tried many Silver shampoos which all promise to neutralise brassy tones, however, some were quite drying while others smelled like you were drowning your hair in aftershave.
Before I started using the Roco Silver Logic Shampoo, I knew it had to be great – I’ve already used the Colour Logic Shampoo. Read all about it here.
Tha grey toner did wash out after a few washes which I expected it to but the Silver Logic Shampoo has kept the pesky yellowness at bay.
I use a fairly good amount as my hair is quite thick and apply when my hair is wet. If I was looking to go for a more silvery look, I would apply it to my hair when dry, leave it for 10/15 minutes and then rinse.
3 reasons why I love the Roco Silver Logic Shampoo
- It comes with a pump – love a good shampoo pump
- It smells incredible – *WARNING you may be caught acting weird, sniffing your hair
- It works quickly – you can rinse it off right away, more time for sleep in the morning
You can buy it online here for only £8.95!
