If you live in Northern Ireland then you will know that Jackets are a necessity whatever the season, so I love updating my wardrobe for Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer with new jackets and coats.
Here are the 7 coats I’ll be wearing this AW season.
1) Faux Fur
Pink and fluffy, it shouldn’t work but it totally does! This H&M showstopper is sold out but I’ll be checking every day until I spy it.
This will look amazing with a white shirt and cropped flare jeans.
2) Shearling
Zara always pull cool girl coats out of the bag, and this denim shearling is no exception.
I can picture myself wearing this with a pair of leather look trousers and a bold red lip.
3) Trenchcoat
Every woman in the world probably owns the trench coat, the colour of this coat is so versatile.
I particularly love this And Other Stories coat because of the double layer. Perfect for casual wear or dressy!
4) Leather
Leather Jackets have gotten super jazzy for AW17! We’ve seen embroidered, now we have embellished.
This Mango jacket is perfect for any rocker (or any girl who craves to be one). Super cool with skinny jeans and pointed stilettos.
5) Parka
I’m loving Topshops AW range at the moment, and this every day Parka is a great addition for your casual wardrobe.
Picture this with mom jeans and will look great with flat boots or trainers.
6) Blazer
Another wardrobe staple – the Blazer.
This ASOS Yellow Blazer is perfect for brunettes, and although the colour would be deemed “summery” pack on a scarf with this and it works for AW.
7) Statement/ Printed
The ultimate pattern for AW is tartan and River Island are rocking it!
The red colour will suit every hair colour and looks great with dark denim and black.
