Spain 2017

If you’ve been following my social media – you will see that I have just came back from my holibobs 🌴

We had the most relaxing week in Salobreña, but now it’s back to cold weather and Slimming World meals!

If you want to find out what I got up to, keep on reading. 😎

The Villa

We stayed in Villa Tranquilidad on the hillside of Salobreña in Costa Tropical. It was without a doubt the most amazing place I have ever stayed.

The outside area was fit for celebs with an infinity pool overlooking the sea, a hot tub, and an outdoor BBQ/ bar. Where we spent most of our time, drinking Tinto de Verano and listening to Despacito. 🏝

Each couple had a HUGE bedroom with open windows overlooking the sea – complete with en suites; and 2 bedrooms even had walk in wardrobes!

We couldn’t have asked for a better home for the 7 days. 🏠

The Outfits

I had only packed a Hand Luggage suitcase for my trip so I squeezed as much as I could in to my Home Bargains bag without busting the zip. 🙈 (I still don’t know how I managed it!)

The Adventures

I’m not much of a sun bather – (If I want a tan I’ll use a bottle) 👌🏻 So my ideal holiday is going on adventures and seeing the local sights.

Shopping in Motril – of course I had to check out the local Mango, Kiko and Stradivarius. 😍

Motril was the next town to Salobreña and was only a ten minute drive from our Villa.

On the Wednesday, we headed to AquaLand in Torremolinos where I picked up the courage and went on the Kamikaze 1 the biggest water slide I had ever seen 😐 and we all managed to get a bit burnt even after applying countless layers of sun screen.

If you’re staying in Costa Del Sol or Costa Tropical, I advise taking a trip to Salobreña castle. The walk through the Old Town to the castle is beautiful (but steep), and the Views are incredible – the sea on one side and mountains on the other.

The area surrounding our Villa was equally as beautiful, so our morning walks were quite picturesque 😍🌴

We had heard a lot about Nerja from friends so decided to check it out. We had coffee and croissants and checked out the gorgeous scenery. 🏝

Before catching our flight home, we ate in Torremolinos. One of the more popular tourist destinations on Costa Del Sol.

The Almuñécar market is held every Friday. It’s one of the biggest markets I’ve been to. And I managed to pick up a cute bag for €3!

Finally. If you’re in Malaga, you need to go shopping; more specifically, shopping to Primark 😍 We spent a few hours here but I could have spent all day wandering around Primark!
