Every girl knows the struggle of packing an overnight bag. Im off to Dublin this weekend for the Irish Beauty Show and I will likely pack enough stuff that I could go backpacking around Australia for 6 months. 😑
However, one thing I have managed to perfect is my over night make up bag. If you want to find out more tips on travelling light, keep on reading. 🙂
Tip 1. Only use miniature products for trips – keep full size for everyday use. I’m always on the lookout for miniature primers, mascara and lipsticks. You can usually find them in boots or free in magazines!
Tip 2. Take an all in one palette – one which includes eyeshadows, blush, highlight and contour. I got the Blank Canvas Pippa Palette last year and as you can see below it’s been put to good use! 😂
Tip 3. You do not need to pack 500 lipsticks – (2 will do) one for day and one for night. I usually pack a pink nude for day time and a dark for night.
Tip 4. Double ended brushes are also a handy way to save space
Tip 5. Make sure your makeup bag is nice and compact.
Pippa for Blank Canvas – £30.50
Makeup Revolution – Love the Revolution – £8
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow – £15
EsteeEdit The Edgiest Up and Out Double Mascara – £17
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation – £29
Mac Lipstick in Film Noir & Mehr – £16.50
Makeup Revolution lipliner in Glory – £6 part of set
So there you have it! If you have any tips, please leave them in a comment below.
Also, I’m going to go live at the Irish Beauty Show so follow me on Facebook if you want to check it out 🙂 Link in sidebar.
